Chemistry has been key for Aberdeen Wings
Wings make Final 4 as top seed in Robertson Cup (NAHL) Playoffs
ABERDEEN, S.D. (Dakota News Now) -The Aberdeen Wings are the top seed in the Final Four of the Robertson Cup Playoffs. And chemistry is a big reason why.
The Wings are really talented for sure. They ripped off 51 wins in the regular season in 56 games which is a league record.
And they are coming off a sweep of Bismarck to make the Final Four in Blaine, Minnesota.
Respect for their head coach is a major factor in the team’s success and also what they get back in return from Scott Langer. Wings center Cade Neilson says, ”It’s a pretty perfect ideal world for us. We’re a very close tight-knit group which I think helps us on the ice more than anything. And I think we have great respect for him and he treats us with great respect too so I think it’s just all of us having great team chemistry. I think it really works in our favor a lot of the time.”
Not much doubt about that. The team really wanted to get that 603rd win for Scott earlier in the season to break the league record. Now they are 4 wins away from defending their Robertson Cup championship.
