SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - On a night in which the Sioux Falls Canaries held a “Dad Bod Olympics” promotion the Milwaukee Milkmen, for the third straight night, won any and all races on the diamond.

The Milkmen scored two in the eighth inning to erase a two-run Canaries’ lead and then went ahead for good on an RBI groundout from Aaron Hill in the tenth inning to defeat the Birds 5-4 and finish off a three game series sweep.

The Canaries (13-14) lost once again despite another remarkable game from Sioux Falls’ native Logan Landon. Landon went 3-5 with three RBI, a run scored and his sixth homerun of the season and fell a triple shy of the cycle. This came a day after he hit two homeruns in the Birds’ 12-10 defeat.

David Washington led the Milwaukee attack with a 2-3 day at the plate including a homerun (12th) and a pair of RBI’s (33).

The Canaries travel up I-29 tomorrow to open up a weekend set with the Fargo/Moorhead RedHawks.
